Benalmadena is the perfect all year round holiday resort, with over three hundred days of sunshine a year. The Costa del Sol as a whole has the best climate in mainland Europe, and it has been known for temperatures to reach the mid twenties even in January and February. In July and August, daytime temperatures can and do rise above forty degrees centigrade.
